Game Backup Software

Game Backup Software to Copy Wii Games

Game backup software is a hot commodity for those looking to make copies of their Wii, X-box, PS3, PS2, Gamecube, and other games.  But of course you knew that.   After all, keeping game backup softwareThe question is, what options are available for you when it comes to copying games with any game backup software?

Well, there are a few.  But limitations on those other game copy software options are what drew me to one decision.  (EasyBackupWizard is the choice I went with, and I did a review of it here you can check out.)

Here’s just a few of the reasons why it went that route:

The software is an instant download – You can start burning copies right away

The software can run on a MAC or PC and is compatible with all versions of Windows – no need to upgrade your current Windows program

This game backup software is EASY to use – If your like me and not a big techy…this is a big deal

The software works for all the gaming systems – not all game copy software does

Not only can you back up Wii games, but you can copy your video DVDs with this software too – the software is multi-functional

Plus…it’s the cheapest on the market that I have found – a steal for all that it does and the price you pay for it

So if you want to get started on backing up your games, you can read more about the software in my review of EasyBackupWizard by clicking here.

It’s by far my best recommendation for game backup software.

Copy Wii Games In Under 60 Seconds With These Tips

Copy Wii Games Quickly and Easily

Wii Game Backup SoftwareMost people would think it was impossible to copy Wii games in under 60 seconds, but it’s actually relatively simple. With the right game backup software and system configuration, it’s very easy to copy and play burned Wii games, although it does require some preparation.

Learn how to copy Wii games in under 60 seconds with these tips:

Before even downloading or burning a Wii game image, it is imperative to understand the most important prerequisite in playing burned Nintendo Wii games. While it is true that Wii games are light on size and easy to download, the console requires a manual upgrade with cracked software to allow the Nintendo Wii to read burned disks. Fortunately, it is easy to download such software on the Internet.

    • Players will also need a copy of the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to get this mod to work well. Since the game’s release, the price has been drastically marked down, so it shouldn’t be hard to get a copy.

    • Make sure to have a computer with an SD card reader on-board, or buy an attachment for a computer that can read FAT16 memory cards.

    • In addition, players will also need a EasyBackupWizard SD Card Installer, which can be downloaded from the Internet with a quick Google search.

    • Simply use the EasyBackupWizard SD Card Installer and load up the install directly onto the FAT16 card. Insert both the Zelda game and the SD card into the CD drive and SD memory card slot on the Wii respectively.

    • Go into the Wii memory management menu and erase the Zelda game data, then switch over to the SD card with the tab and copy the Twilight Hack chainloader onto the console.

    • Simply run Twilight Princess and open the main savefile, this will load the on-board hack’s installer.

    • Utilizing a DVD image-burning software package, easily copy the images of Wii games by putting them directly onto the computer. Make a direct copy onto a blank disk with the software, and burn in under 60 seconds.

  • Insert the disk and play the backup! Enjoy!

I know this all sounds complicated which I why I recommend you check out the Wii game backup software, EazyBackupWizard to do it all for you. With this game backup software, you can copy Wii games, but don’t have to worry about all these steps.

Back Up Wii Games – Two Simple Ways to Backup Your Games

Back Up Wii Games – Simple Ways to Make Backups of Your Games

Wii Game Backup Your Wii games aren’t just “toys.”  They are investments.  In order to ensure there is no loss in your investment, you should protect it.  If you back up Wii games, that’s one method of doing so.

In all actuality, there are only two ways that really work in copying Wii games.  One of those ways requires an additional investment in hardware.  The other needs an investment in Wii game backup software.  And though both methods have been proven effective, going the route of buying the hardware does have considerably more risks.

The Wii Modchip

When it comes to using the modchip, there is one big advantage.   That is that you can use any free ripping software after the modchip is installed to copy your Wii games and play them.  And at a minimum “initial” cost of $25  for the modchip, plus the various number of free burning software products to choose from, that seems like it would be worth it.  The one thing that must be considered though…is the risk to the Wii itself.

Wii game copy*WARNING* Know the risks that comes with installing a modchip…

First and foremost is the fact that your Wii warranty becomes VOID, once the Wii console is opened.  And modchips that have been installed improperly have been known to damage the Wii beyond repair.  In addition, installation of firmware updates to your Wii will no longer be an option.  This is because the modchip will be detected and the console will be disabled upon detection of the hardware.

The Wii Softmod

The second way mention above for how to copy your Wii games is actually the currently recommended method and it’s called “softmod.”  With this method, there’s no need to buy or install any hardware.  That’s because it’s all done with software.   And with this method firmware updates can continue and the warranty on your Wii is still valid.  That means…your Wii is still covered.

The cost of such game backup software starts at about $40 and the ultimate price paid depends on purchasing the right software.  While several options are available, my experience is only with these 3 products:

These are all easy to use and the copies worked great!

The initial up-front investment on this softmod approach may be a little more.  However, it will work best in the long run because…

You get to keep playing online with your softmod copies!!!

How to Backup Wii Games Easily in Case You Lose Them

Wii games are proprietary Nintendo product which in layman’s terms means you can play them on a Wii, but no other console.  That’s part of their marketing strategy to make money and there is certainly nothing wrong with that philosophy.  However, accidents can happen that could cause the game to be unplayable in which case you would have to buy your game again.  That’s the part that just doesn’t seem fair.  Does it to you???

How to copy Wii gamesHere is some good news though.  Now, there are some options available that allow you to continue playing your favorite Wii games without any interruption.  That’s true even if they get scratched, lost, or even “borrowed by a friend.”
There is a cost that comes with this type of protection for your games.  But once that price has been paid, you can use that protection on all of your Wii games.

    Wii Modchipping

One method of protection is to buy a modchip.  Doing so allows you to play the Wii games you backed up on a blank CD via nearly any copying or burning software.  Even though the DVD isn’t an authentic Wii disc, the modchip authenticates it as if it were.
**WARNING** – Some risks come with taking this approach.

After purchasing the modchip, your first step will be to open the Wii console to install it.  Please Note:  Opening your Wii console will void the warranty so if anything happens where your Wii console is no longer working, it will mean paying to get it fixed or buying a new unit.  Another problem that can come with this method involves the chip itself.  Due to various standards of quality, not all chips function properly thus causing failures and sometimes the device to not work at all.  The last issue to be aware of is that even with a high quality chip that is installed properly, you will no longer get the Wii updates to install when they happen.

(Personally, because of these reasons, this is not the route I would recommend.)

Softmodding

Here is a method that I do recommend and believe to be a much better approach.  You can use a special software application to copy the game. Going this route, you don’t have to buy a chip, install it, or run any of the other risks associated with the previously mentioned method.

There is downside to using the softmodding technique…you can’t use free copying or burning software to create your Wii game backups.  You’ll have to purchase game copy software that has the ability to bypass the authentication coding in the Wii game during the copying process.

Fortunately, there are several reputable software package options available that will provide you with the ability to make softmodded backups quickly and safely.  One favorite software backup manager of mine is called EasyBackupWizard – I wrote a review about it that you should read here.

How to Backup and Play Your Wii Games – Wii Backup Tips

Before you can backup your Wii games, you have to make sure that your computer can recognize the Wii programming. Your computer may not be able to do this on its own. Because of this, you will need to get a special recognition program that can allow your computer to see the Wii files. You can normally get Wii recognition programs from Wii video game Web sites (here’s a review of my favorite).

Wii Game BackupAfter you have downloaded and installed the program, you will need to insert the Wii disc into your DVD or CD drive. This will activate the program. A window may pop up on your computer screen requiring you to download a program before you can continue. After you have followed these instructions, you will be able to save the Wii game information onto your hard drive. You can save this information on your computer, burn it onto a different disc, or save that information on an SD card.

After you have finished saving the information, you will need to remove the Wii disc. Before you can play the game that you just backed up, you will need to modify the hardware of your Wii. There are two ways to do this. You can open your Wii console and place a chip inside the game that will be able to recognize your back up games. However, there is an easier option that you can use.

You can download a software called EasyBackupWizard (Check out my review of it here) which will allow you to copy your Wii game without the need to install any hardware.

Once you copy the game, insert it into the Wii and restart. After you have restarted the Wii, you should be able to select the disc channel and load your backup game.

Game Backup Software Review–Is Easy Backup Wizard the Best Game Backup Software to Copy Your Games?

Game Backup Software Review – Is Easy Backup Wizard the Best Game Copy software

Hi!  As you can see, this site is designed to help you and your quest to learn how to copy your Wii games or any other games you may have.  I do hope it’s provided you with a lot of great information and that you did indeed find it helpful.  Having said that, I also want to share some thoughts with you about what I believe is the best way to copy Wii games by offering a game backup software review for you to use.

In the past year, I’ve tried my hand at copying Wii games using a variety of different game copy backup software.  All of them I found were either too expensive, had extremely limited features, or worse…flat out just didn’t work.

Then I just recently learned about Easy Backup Wizard from a friend of mine and let me tell you…remember the famous movie line, “You had me at hello?”
I was hooked instantly…

Backup Wii gamesEasy Backup Wizard WiiThe number one reason I like Easy Backup Wizard compared to any other competing Wii game backup software is because it works on not only the Wii, but on Xbox360, Xbox, Gamecube, PS3, your PC…heck, even Dreamcast!

With this game copy software, instead of having to buy multiple softwares, here is an all-in-one solution that will do it all for you

I would be missing an important detail in this game backup software review if I didn’t mention that the other great thing about this top backup software for games is that it makes GOOD copies.  My experience with some of the other game copy software is that in various attempts, bad copies were made making the games unplayable.

You never have to worry about bad copies again, with Easy Backup Wizard.

( By the way, If you want to get Easy Backup Wizard download, you can grab it here.)

And you know the video DVDs you have and want to copy?  This wouldn’t be that good of a Easy Backup Wizard review if I didn’t mention that another cool feature of this easy game backup software is that it copies those as well.  In fact, you can upload video files right from your computer and make DVD videos if you wanted.  Then, if you have some videos backed up on your computer that you want to watch at a friend’s house…problem solved.
And as far as price goes…you won’t find anything cheaper than this…

I’m pretty particular when it comes to what I spend my money on and how much I pay.  I’ve looked all over online for a cheaper product with all these features and worked well, and had no success in finding anything.  Granted, I did find one other Wii game copy software, but the price was twice as much as this and it ONLY works on a Wii console.

Knowing all this, now I believe you can see why I recommend the Easy Backup Wizard in this game backup software review.

And fortunately for you,a 50% discount is waiting here, for the Easy Backup Wizard download.

I highly recommend giving this video game copy software a try.  I truly believe you’ll be glad you chose it for your easiest backup software.

Keep on playing,
